You buy only the , covering consumption you already have.
Still need green electricity?

Independence
We do not source it ourselves and earn nothing from a recommendation.
Which scope applies
The guideline knows two scopes. Which one applies to you follows from your commitment in .
The broader scope: not just the ZF share, but all electricity used at the chosen level. No allocation to ZF production is needed. Three levels are open:
- Group: The whole group runs green; no allocation at all.
- Company: The entity making the ZF parts runs fully green.
- ZF plant: Only the plants named in the supply contract.
The narrow scope: only the electricity attributable to ZF production has to be green. You allocate that volume, on one of two routes:
- Dedicated meter: A meter records ZF production all year; that fixes the volume.
- Mass balance: Without one, the share is estimated from revenue or weight.
Which standard applies to which scope
- ZF Supply Chain Audit Approach: A fixed audit programme, agreed with ZF and offered only by us.
- General limited assurance: The general audit approach: the auditor decides which procedures are needed.
Who may verify
An independent public auditor or a registered audit firm.
Cost indication1
Who engages us and who pays
The engagement is with you, not with ZF. That keeps records and result fully under your control, and nothing goes to anyone else. The supplier therefore bears the cost, not ZF.
1Indications for reporting year 2026 from our own engagements, each plus or minus ten percent, plus VAT. Experience values, not a quote.
Why justReporting
We developed and exclusively offer the ZF Supply Chain Audit Approach, to make the verification as cost efficient as possible while keeping up with ZF information needs.
